We enjoyed a wonderful outing hiking a two-mile trail to a scenic waterfall nestled within the Moss Rock Preserve in Birmingham, GA. Spanning 349 acres, Moss Rock is a stunning nature reserve teeming with natural beauty—dense forest systems, dramatic rock outcroppings, winding streams, cascading waterfalls, and diverse wildlife. As we walked, the rustling leaves, birdsong, and the soothing sound of water in the distance created a peaceful, immersive experience in nature. The trail led us through shaded woodlands and across rocky terrain before revealing the waterfall, a serene and refreshing reward at the hike’s end.
