We made it to DC today. Camped in the Greenbelt National Park for $8 a night, senior rate. (38.97809, -76.90386) This is a great deal as campgrounds around the DC area expensive, up to $75 a night.
This is a nice park and we can catch the Metro nearby for travel into DC.
