Alabama Hills

Camped in the scenic Alabama Hill below Mt. Whitney. Hundreds of movies and dozens of TV shows have been filmed here. Early in the 1920s Tom Mix and Hopalong Cassidy fought the bad guys here. More recently Tremors, Gladiator and even Star Trek have used this location. It is spectacular place to boondocks. (36.60093, -118.11126)
