Summer Happiness

I want to wish all my friends at Fisher a wonderful summer vacation.

My First Lobster Roll

I have been hearing about New England lobster rolls for years. It is one of the regional foods I was looking forward to, and I was not disappointed. Large chunks of lobster in a light dressing. It was piled so high that I had to use a fork to eat some off the top before I could pick it up. Linda said she has had lobster rolls all over New England and these are the best. Of course I will have to verify that statement.

Paradise in the Monadnock

Linda has restored her 1780 home into an oasis of comfort. This home has gone through many changes, a home, a home and gas station, a home and fried chicken restaurant and now one the most beautiful homes in New Hampshire.

The Byways of New England

We are traveling through beautiful countryside punctuated with charming villages. It is good to be on the back-roads again. So relaxing. A few snaps along the way

This village had a number of these cat pieces, each with a different theme.

Stayed at Woodford SP last night. It is early in the season and we had the place to ourselves. (42.88797, -73.03622)

You frequently pass large cemeteries with elaborate markers.

We are all tucked in on Linda's field. What a great spot.
