Point Defiance Rose Garden

The Pt. Defiance Park Rose Garden covers approximately 2 acres and features a designed garden planted with over 2200 roses of 250 varieties, primarily of modern types – however some of the oldest varieties were established in 1895. I thought the non rose flowers were more interesting.

Mt. Rainer Railroad

You board the train in Elbe, WA for an hour and fifteen minute out and back ride through the beautiful country side. They offer several types of excursions. We took the scenic train pulled by the 100 year-old steam engine, Polson 70. It features an open air car, two historic Pullman passenger coaches

Just another wonderful day with the WINs
