The ever popular Desert Bar is outside Parker AZ in the stunning Buckskin Mountains. Forty years old this year, it is open from Oct to April, weekends only. It features live music, good food and O yes, drinks. The band was great and my Philly Cheese Steak delicious. It is a cash only operation. There a two way to the Desert Bar. The easy way and the fun way. We took the fun way. A 6 mile path that requires a serious off road vehicle with an experienced driver. It took us 2.5 hours to reach the bar.
