The Coleman Theatre is a historic play and movie house located on historic US Route 66 in Miami OK. It was built in 1929 in the distinctive Spanish Colonial Revival exterior, and an elaborate Louis XV interior. The Coleman opened in April 18, 1929, to a full house of 1,600, each paying $1.00 per ticket. Although the theatre transitioned from a vaudeville theatre to a movie house over the years, it has never been dark.
