Twice a year, spring and fall, they shut down all sculpting and allow people to hike up to Crazy Horse. We expected we would walk up the road from the parking lot. O NO, you get take a 10 K circuitous trail through the woods that was set up by the Black Hills Volkssport Association. It cost, three cans of food and $3.
